What should I expect during my initial consultation?

Before your initial consultation, you'll receive comprehensive intake questionnaires. After reviewing your responses, I'll reach out to discuss and plan for a comprehensive lab evaluation. Once your labs are complete, we'll schedule your 1-hour visit, which can be either in-person or virtual. During this consultation, you'll receive comprehensive treatment recommendations, including lifestyle, supplement, and hormone options, along with any necessary prescriptions.
How do telehealth appointments work, and what do I need to prepare?

Telehealth appointments are conducted through Google Meetup via the Hint Electronic Medical Record system, ensuring HIPAA compliance. Please use a desktop, tablet, or laptop for a hands-free experience during your consultation. It's recommended (but not required) to have an AHA-recommended BP cuff and scale to provide current blood pressure, pulse, height, and weight measurements. A fabric tape measure is also suggested to provide biometric data upon request.
Can Dr. Anna be my primary care provider?

What types of Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) do you prescribe?

I prescribe FDA-approved hormone therapies tailored to your individual needs. These can be picked up at your local pharmacy of choice.
Will my insurance cover the cost of MHT prescriptions?

Yes, insurance generally covers the cost of MHT prescriptions. While I do not bill insurance directly, I can provide a superbill for you to file with your insurance company.
How does the women's annual wellness package work?

The annual wellness package is designed for patients who prefer more frequent access throughout the year. After the initial consultation, you will have unlimited acces to me via email/text. We will also schedule two follow-up visits to asses your treatment plan and make any adjustments necessary. You will receive discounts on labwork. Prescriptions provided will cover the entire year. Additionally, we offer discounts on aesthic treatments and health and nutrition coaching.
Can Dr. Anna be my primary care provider?

While I am a primary care provider, I am not currently taking new patients. If you wish to join the waiting list, please email anna@wondercreekhealth.com
What age patients can enroll?

Dr. Anna accepts patients between the ages of 14 and 64. Currently unable to accept Medicare Eligible patients.

The very first time I met with Dr. Anna I told her I felt like a shell of my former self. I had put on about 35 lbs in one year (with no diet or lifestyle changes) and had high cholesterol for the first time in my life. I was tired all of the time, had a ton of anxiety and no sex drive. I was actually offended when she told me to download the Balance app and track my symptoms prior to my appointment, but she explained what was happening to my body and how we could turn it around. I started feeling better months after starting HRT, and over one year later I feel like my old self again and my cholesterol is much lower. I am so grateful for Dr. Anna!
